Dr. Michael Charles sings "Freedom After While" in Kansas City, MO

Dr. Michael Charles was inspired to write this haunting song the night Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was killed. Charles was the Dean of Gospel Music in Kansas City until his death in 2011.
